The Old Gods
The old gods are nameless, and are worshiped in Godswoods, wild and secluded woodlands where the old gods watch over people. At the center of each godswood is a heart tree called a weirwood that has white bark, blood red leaves, and a face carved in it, supposedly by the children of the forest. They were the gods of the children of the forest and are now the gods of the First Men. All the great houses of the south keep a Godswood, but few worship in them.
